The footprint is slightly smaller than the tent which is good. The cords to secure in place seem a bit light and the overall material seems lightweight to protect the bottom of the tent but time will tell.

Best to have for protection from moisture and dirt for the tent. It is well worth the cost to protect and extend the life of your tent.

As the title suggests, it gets the job done. Fits the tent as it is supposed to, the design includes room for gear to sit under the rain fly.My one concern is how thin it it, but that's to be expected with backpacking gear. It hasn't torn yet. Seems to be good value for the money spent.

Footprint is lightweight but sturdy and easy to manage. Our tent must be an older model, the footprint was not the right size for our Eureka! El Capitan 3+ Outfitter and there was no way to attach the footprint to the poles using the loops without it deforming the tent. We still used it under the tent with some adjustments as well as another Eureka! tent and footprint combo that were purchased at the same time and fit properly. We found that the Eureka! footprints were not as good at keeping the bottom of the tents dry as the blue poly tarps we used with other tents at the same times, and we switched back to a tarp for our El Capitan 3+ Outfitter as well as the other Eureka! tent we had a footprint for. The footprint being the right shape for the tent + vestibules is great, but we were able to do the same with our tarp with a bit of folding.

A very functional extension of ground cover to the dual vestibule areas…was perfect for the extra gear and ground cover kept the packs and extra gear dry and out of the main tent space. Really allowed for a spacious interior. Is a bit heavier with the main tent body, but also contributes to another layer of protection and durability for the tent from the ground interactions. Fits exactly to the shape of the tent floor and rain fly.
