This towel is large enough to lay over most mats and doesn't move around too much as such. I use it myself to just lay over the carpet on my floor to provide a bit of a softer feel and protect the carpet from sweat. For this, it works well. It's not super thick, but does absorb the sweat well enough for my needs. Thumbs up

I like how thin this towel is. I’ve replaced the towels in my bathroom with these because I can get much larger towels (full body wraps or beach towel size towels) in less space. I like large, long towels. They take up less space in the linen closet or in a sports bag or suitcase, too. I ordered the non-waffle towel in black. It’s soft and absorbent. Once you switch you may never go back to regular terry towels. The edges are hemmed and the stitching is where it should be - there are no loose threads or areas left unstitched. I’d love to see a greater variety of colors.

My wife commonly practices yoga, often for several classes in a row with at least 1 incorporating a hot/heated environment. This towel was absorbent and improved the traction between her feet and the mat, so it performed well in making sure that her practice was “well grounded”. She uses a standard-sized mat and the towel is the right size to cover your standard yoga mat completely, nothing funky about its dimensions.Unfortunately, while the waffle texture increases your traction against the towel, the sticky side didn’t grab enough traction against the mat so the towel bunched around her feet during classes that focused more on vinyasa/flow. The towel will be good for use in some practices, but for the yoga styles that my wife prefers to focus on it caused for frequent adjustments.

Great mop up towel for the hot classes and it has nonskid type plastic on the bottom to adhere to your mat or the floor. I docked a star for the top material. It feels kind of scratchy even after a wash but it washed well and perhaps it will soften with time and use. One other note, it doesn't feel as heavy as my nice Lululemon hot mat/towel but it does the job similarly so 4 stars for value compared with that one certainly.

I've been working out in the mornings and wanted a yoga mat or workout mat to really give me a good grip and of course not get on any dirty floor.I ordered this and am very please with how much grip the mat has. Has a great texture that makes it stick to the floor when working out or stretching. The only downside that I've had with this is that it's thinner than I wanted. I would like a little more cushion, it's more of a fabric than a padded mat. That's likely how this is designed, however.Other than the thickness, this mat has been great. I'm 6'2" and it's even long enough for me, which is amazing. Overall, a great pick.
