Me gusto bastante, el color hueso y acabado mate esta genial aunque no se siente de la misma calidad del plastico original le da una sensación similar, fue un poco mas tardado de lo que pense, lo mas complicado es sacar la pantalla y despegar los trackpads, es obligatorio usar pistola de calor, tener mucha paciencia con la pantalla para evitar rallar la parte negra por debajo.Lo unico que no me gusto es que el plastico base es blanco pintado, de color hueso y guinda, entonces si se ralla o raspa se mira una raya blanca, no estoy seguro si con el tiempo se le cae la pintura, la parte trasera guinda atrapa muchas huellas si te sudan las manos se mancha rapido

This came in perfect. The seller has a very long and in depth video about how to install all the parts, along with the tools necessary to do so. Just be warned, it takes about 5 hours, and you're dealing with very small and delicate parts. At any point during instillation, you can permanently destroy your steam deck. This isn't the sellers fault, they give you very precise instructions about how to do it properly.If you are not one to have experience taking apart and fixing computers, I would advise you have someone else do it for you.As far as value, it was very fairly priced for the quality and information given to you.Functionally, it's fine. It feels better then the normal steamdeck chasis. It's obviously cheap plastic, but it's better cheap plastic than was on the regular steam deck. The additional grips also feel good too. I haven't had any issues with overheating or loose parts either. It's a good buy.

Speed of install -- SLOW. you are literally taking the entire steamdeck apart. Please have tiny containers to hold screws. (PS THEY SEND YOU EXTRAS IN THIS NEW CASE)Ease of fit is AMAZING.Ease of install please see speed explanation.Performance we have had this for 3 weeks and my husband loves it. It gives a custom feel without sticker peel.Protection - i dont know that this protects more than the original black casing but it sure looks nice.

Only used the back plate/buttons on this one. Decided to post some photos since there weren't any yet for the wood grain. It looks quite nice! I appreciate the buttons it came with are black. The buttons and shell both have a smoother finish than the stock ones. I think it feels nice, and hopefully it'll hold up. I think it may be some sort of "satin" coating.Can't speak for the full shell/buttons as again, we only needed the back ones but the install was pretty easy. The buttons need to sort of "snap" into place, but that was the only thing that stumped us temporarily. The rest was smooth sailing.Overall, it feels good quality. It's a little pricy now ($45) but other than the price it's a nice product.UPDATE: After I passed it off to my partner (it was for her Deck) she noticed that one of the triggers would stick. It also gave them a tactile "bump" as opposed to their default linear actuation. I took it back off to see if I could fix the sticking trigger and decided to compare it to the stock backplate. As you can see, this little cylinder is much wider than the stock plate, and the wings on either side are narrower and sharper. I'm not sure what of that contributes to the tactile trigger feel, but just be aware. It's a shame because it's an otherwise nice backplate. After some adjusting I was at least able to get the trigger to stop sticking, but the linear actuation is still gone.

I bought this shell to match my Xbox and Playstation controllers with the same shell mod. It's as expected. The shell feels very soft to the touch and the wood grain pattern looks amazing. Add in some gold buttons for my favorite effect.

C'est une coque pour Steam Deck qui vient remplacer celle d'origine, ce n'est pas fait pour être collé par dessus. C'est clairement pas fait pour les débutants, si vous n'avez pas l'habitude de réparer des appareils mobiles, je vous déconseille de commencer ce changement.Vous devez désassembler l'ensemble de l'appareil, je vous conseille de changer la coque si vous avez l'intention de changer la pâte thermique ou autre.

If I left this in the woods it would probably blend in and be lost forever. The entire process took many hours for me to complete. I think the most difficult part was the screen removal (I damaged mine a little bit) and separating the touchpad from it's board. You will be fighting adhesive. I had to use multiple spudgers
