Learning to drink from a straw is an important developmental milestone that develops lip rounding and promotes speech development. The Mini Cup + Straw Training System includes a straw that serves as both a Beginner Training Straw and an Advanced Training Straw, which helps toddlers succeed with the 3-Phase Developmental Drinking Method (Dawn Winkelmann, M.S, CCC-SLP). Made from high-quality silicone that is BPA, BPS, PVC, lead, latex and phthalate free. Designed specifically for ages 9+ months.

This cup has been perfect for training my baby to use a straw. He can hold it well in his hands and it doesn’t have a valve making it much easier to use. Of course this isn’t leak proof, but the lid stays on well and the straw fits tightly in the cup so it’s not terrible mess-wise. Small size is great for packing up and taking to restaurants.
