I love these gloves, they're breathable and comfortable. I have long palms with long slender fingers and they fit me great. I wish they worked with the touch screen of my phone. It's about the only thing I would change.

We have family that has horses and boards others so they are always busy with the horses and it was nice to give these a go. We thought they are great (don't go riding much) but our family member that is quite involved (clearly) and also acrobatic with her horses doesn't feel these will hold up for her. They are lightweight and breathable but that may also hinder it in a sense of durability and longevity of these. The fit is great and is a good pair for the novice riders who want to give it a shot!

These gloves are nice, however they were a bit tight, which is OK since they're like a second skin. The real issue is that they abrade quite easily, mine already have worn more than I'd hoped.

Pros:- Light weight.- Well ventilated.- They look nice.Cons:- Thin material, ridiculously thin.- Faux leather, they smell like PVC plastic.- Questionable longevity, and protection.- Fit's on the smaller side.Equine leather; not horse leather, but faux leather. Ever smelled a cheap pool inflatable toy? You'll recognize the smell when you open the package for these. The faux leather is most certainly of the poly vinyl pleather variety. In my experience this is not a tough material, or a durable material. For the price, these really should be made with real leather. Split grain would be fine, with full grain reinforcements. Especially with the amount of fabric mesh on these, real leather would really make these so much better.Fit is tight for me. I'm 6'7", ordered the absolute largest size, and they are tight to the point of not being comfortable after about 20 minutes. They're even tight around the wrist. On the plus side, the seams at the finger tips, and around the fingers, don't bite in to your finger, which is a huge plus.Everything is well ventilated, and while I don't like the mesh across the palm, or around the base of the thumb, you are not going to get hot.My overall impression is one of fashion, as opposed to function. I've worn straight leather gloves, work gloves, buckskin driving gloves, even motorcycle gloves. Heck, a nice pair of summer weather motorcycle gloves provide 10 times the protection of these, for a similar price. That is my problem with these. They are so light, and the material is so thin, that I don't see these offering a whole lot of protection. Do they look good? Absolutely. Will your hands be cool and comfortable? I really believe they will be. If you come off the horse, or the reins get pulled hard, will they protect your hands? I don't think they will; I think the material will fail. That is a problem for me.1 star off for the material and the lack of confidence it inspires. Another star off for the fit being too small.

Bought them for my 12 year old step daughter for her riding lessons. She was super excited when they came in. She wasn't expecting them to be as nice as they are. They are slightly too big, but she's 12 so the whole "still growing" thing is a factor. She loves them though. No chaffing, warmer then other brands, seams are all still tight.

- Made in ChinaPros:- Air holes along the tops of thumbs. Pinky and index, too. I love that- Thumb is the only digit that has full length leather pad, the rest are placed at appropriate places and don't get in the way of feel- Stretchy, breathy mesh in all the places it could be useful and that don't get in the way- Partially elastic wrist with wide velcro for custom size- I also love these are genderlessCons- My husband wants to steal theseTerribly impressed, I've never had a pair this perfectly designed.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. These riding gloves are made of a flexible breathable mesh fabric. They are very comfortable and provide a good grip on the reins. They are very soft and stay tight with the aid of a Velcro closure around the wrist.

These leather gloves look rich and are well designed. Although they look thick in the picture the leather is actually somewhat thinner which is perfect for riding gloves. You don’t want extra bulk so that your hands are in control. I like the reinforced contact points on the finger area so that there won’t be much wear and tear. The gloves are breathable and will be a nice gift for any horse lover. The gloves are comfortable to wear as well.

I got these for my grand daugter. She rides horses and is learning. They are a nice solid quality but i can not tell you how they fit because they are way to small for me to wear. Stiching seems really nice. Awesome gloves.

The gloves fit my hands very well, I have a wider hand but shorter fingers and most of the large size is too long and medium size too tight. This pair literally fits like a glove, no need to break in. The thin material allows me to feel the reins and the paddings are not bulky. They also breathe quite well, although I tried them on in November but would imagine they will not be hot in the summer. The velcro closure on the wrist is comfortable and does not poke me.With the thin material I am not sure how long they will last, as my riding gloves usually have holes between the ring finger and the pinky where the reins are held. The material is synthetic so might last longer than other natural materials.Overall a nice looking pair of gloves.

One big complaint with gloves is breathability, finding a compromise between protection, breathability and toughness. This set has a good mix of all 3, velcro is good, stitching is well done. No fraying threads found here. The palm material is also fairly rugged and should last with basic maintenance of cleaning and hydrating with a protective cleaning fluid.Very happy with this.
