I bought this product for the first time at a hobby lobby. I ended up losing a few pieces (note to new buyers, do not construct this over a gray carpet because once a piece falls, its gone forever) and the company was so quick to respond by sending replacement parts. I had so much fun constructing this model and am looking forward to getting more in the future!

Frustrated with putting it together. Parts didn't fit well and removing them from the mounting usually ended up with the part being twisted and bent.

All the details were there but I'm too old and too shaky to put these d*** things together.....If you make a mistake once or twice you cannot bend the pieces back they will Snap and you'll have to glue, would not recommend if you have not put these together before

The product and directions are top notch, like other Metal Earth models. I enjoyed building the Red Baron triplane, but it was difficult for me. There were a lot of small pieces and my hands are big and clumsy. I used my magnifying desk lamp almost the entire time to see what I was doing. Pliers, tweezers, benders, etc. are all necessary to build this model imo.The metallic red is quite striking on this model; however, it will scratch off if you’re too aggressive with your tools.Look at the directions carefully! Have fun 😊

Me encanta este puzzle 3D, pero las instrucciones no son nada buenas. Mi consejo es buscar vídeos por internet o mirar bien las imágenes antes de montarlo, porque no se explica como doblar las alas para que encajen bien, por ejemplo.Las ametralladoras las tuve que colocar al revés porque si no, se quedaban enfrentadas a los hierros frontales y no se veían.Me pareció bastante difícil de montar, y viendo vídeos por internet de gente con mucha más experiencia, les quedaban muchos huecos entre las piezas (alas, cola) que son realmente difíciles de evitar, pero aún así me gusta mucho esa pieza.

i will be honest i am no where near finished this , it is very intricate and lots of tiny pieces, but really realistic. if you like fiddly bits and exactitude, this is for you. it is thin punch out metal sheets, and requires only tweezer and needle nose pliers , a magnifier would not go amiss doing this. a child could do it with patience, great product. a really good challenge
