These thread in snap ups are a great time saver when changing oil pan gaskets. They enable the job to be done even if you have no extra help.I used them in the corners to hold the gasket in place while I lifted the pan into alignment. The snap ups act as guides to line up the other bolt holes.Just hand tighten the bolts and working from the middle outward torque the bolts alternating on opposing sides of the pan.Highly recommend this product!Mark Jones

Just make sure you get the right size for your vehicle and you will be wonderfully surprised. They make changing an oil pan/gasket too damn easy ! I placed mine one hole back from the corners so as not to interfere with the RTV. Holds it in place while you bolt it in. Use a flat head screwdriver to back them out. Will save you time and frustration.

These made the job of installing my Jeep oil pan gasket so much easier and much less frustrating. Simple to use: Screw into the 4 corners, slide the gasket on, then slide the oil pan on. These grip the pan and hold everything together so you can bolt pan back on without having to try and hold everything in place while you reinstall the gazillion bolts.Simply squeeze when finished and unscrew to remove these and install the bolts in their place and done.
