I have bought these before and will buy them again when they run out. They do last quite a long time for me. I use them to clean all sorts of things but mainly bought them to clean inside and out of watches, cell phones, jewelry , corrosion of batteries, torches, etc .. After I use the brush I blow away any dust with air.

I use these on copper motor face as shown in the picture to clean all the years of crud from the brushes. I recommend these to anyone working on toy trains to clean electrical contacts.

Brushes are firm until u bend them around. used to clean my ring. Could be used for other things . Clicks up and down. Meaning the tip of brushes can be extended for a longer brushes or a short brush. Seems durable
