Been using this for 2 years - no regrets. Holding up great, strong enough where I never have to worry about bending it while torquing logs into place. Even the paint/powder coating is going strong except for the very tip. Everything I wanted in a fireplace poker.

The instructions are very simple however I decided to install the handle on each half in such a way that I could either open one side or the other. Product appears to be of a decent gauge and finished in a quality manner.

This poker is heavy duty and long enough that I can stand away from my fire in my outdoor pit and move burning firewood around with ease. It's a well made tool.

These are great! I got one as a gift last year and just bought a second for someone else. The hook on the end makes it very easy to move the wood around and the metal it’s made from is heavy/durable with an easy to hold handle.

I was a bit skeptical buying an item like this on Amazon. I was afraid it wouldn't be sturdy or heavy duty enough to do the job.This is perfect for bonfires/fire pits. It has a loop for hanging it up, the hook is strongly welded to the main body of the poker and it is a pretty heavy gauge of steel. I can easily move logs around in the fire and stoke the fire for keeping the fires strong well into the night.I do keep mine out of the weather under a covered porch, so I cannot speak to how quick it may rust. It is a mild gauge steel, so it will likely rust and if you leave it on the ground or outside in the elements, I could see it rusting pretty quickly.Overall - if you are an avid backyard or campfire fan - this is a must have for your fire pit.
