Review for: "Firecore Measuring Wheel Telescopic Measure Wheel 4-Inch, Distance Measuring Wheel in Feet and Inches with Starting Point Arrow-F4402"I ordered this measuring wheel to quickly and easily measure distances. It came in a box to protect it during transit.At first I was impressed with the telescoping handle that goes from 12 1/4" to 20 1/4" to 28 3/4". Each extension opens by a simple twist of each section. The distance from the top of the handle to the floor is 31.5" fully extended, and at full length I can hold it in my hand by my side to do the measuring. However, I would think this would be a little short for someone any taller than me (I am about 5'4"). It would be nice to have at least one more extension piece.This measuring wheel is in inches and feet only, but the sticker on the handle says "10cm-1km". Each spin of the wheel (circumference of the wheel) is 12".I put a measuring tape down on the floor and wheeled this to 104" and it read 8ft 8 inches, so I think it is fairly accurate.

I have always been curious about these contraptions since I saw one many decades ago when I was in grade 7. A city worker was measuring a municipal park. I often wonder what the distance is walking around my block or around the nearby park but have no means to measure the distance. I tried with a pedometer but it was not very accurate and neither was asking a friend to drive around the block/park with his car. With this measuring wheel, I will be (when the nice spring weather arrives) able to measure the distance and then figure out how far I am walking when I go around the block x number of times.It is also great for someone who lives alone to be able to measure rooms, walls, heights, etc. when you donât have someone else around to hold onto the other end of a measuring tape or across rooms when the tape is flopping around like a fish out of water.Itâs wonderful that I donât need to bend down to place a measuring tape but this measuring wheel can easily roll it along to measure distance.On the technical side, the measuring stick is easy to use. It can measure a distance of up to 999 feet. The length of the pole is made up of four sections and can be adjusted to the length you require. There are no fancy displays or batteries required.I tried measuring a distance in several rooms in my house with a traditional measuring tape and then measured the same distance using the wheel and it gave the same reading as the measuring tape each time so I am confident that I can use it to accurately measure distances.The company, if I read the listing correctly, offers a lifetime warranty. I recommend this measuring wheel if you have any difficulty using other measuring methods. Itâll make your life much easier.
