Clear, so you can SEE if dishes are clean and full; easily removed for cleaning and during filling; solid, strong construction. This is NOT flimsy, but a solid millimeter thick, large, and very rigid.My vet and staff flipped when they saw these (they treat and are owned by all manner of birds), and were thrilled with my gift. So thrilled that each staff member ordered their limit (for the hospital, and were reimbursed) on each crock and accessory, such as this seed guard, when they were on sale to ensure there was enough available for each hospital cage. They have significantly cut down on spilled seed on the floor of the hospital, containing it to inside the cages. Something VERY appreciated by anyone fed up with scattered seed.

I find them too big and I can not find the bowls any where to use with them. Bought 4 put without the bowls can't use them.

I expected a flimsy piece of plastic, but this is seriously sturdy! Same material as all their products, works great! High quality products at reasonable prices makes my bird and I happy!

Okay okay okay yes i read that they were 12" around but they are still bigger than i expected lol. If these dont stop the seed dropping nothing will! Top quality clear plastic and as a bonus they come with an extra bolt and cap so you dont "Have" to have a smart crock to use them. Cant beat the price and these will outlast my lifetime im sure.
