While using this grass seed over snow is obviously not a possibility. I am excited to use it come spring/summer. It came in a clear bag that says it covers up to 500sqft. There was little to no dust in the bag and the seeds looked intact. I will update once some has been planted outside and some progress has been made..or.. if it fails entirely I have tried other seeds from this brand with great success so I am hoping for the same. Thanks for stopping by.

I have a few spots my yard that were pretty balls of grass. I drop this down and it’s only been a few days and they’re already starting to sprout very impressed.

This bag of seeds is of good quality. It’s sealed well and the contents inside are thoroughly dry so there’s no chance of seed damage. I germinated a sprinkle of the mix and everything sprouted. I put the flowers seeds into peat pots to continue growing (but just tossed the sprouted grass seed outside). To be clear, this mix is literally 99% grass seed. The description indicates this. It’s many different types of grass (and I class clover as a grass, if you do not, be aware that is 7% of the mix). You are going to get grass and poppies. The odds that you’ll be able to get lupines to grow from seed are slim, but not impossible in the right conditions. Good news is that poppies grow invasively, so if you’re looking for just a pop of colour, or a pollinator, like I do, this is perfect.

I ordered this roadside grass seed mix to fill in an area next to our driveway that needs some grass and greenery to fill it in. Since we are under snow right now, I decided to plant a handful of this grass seed mix indoors under a grow light just to see how long it would take to germinate and grow. It took about two weeks to see any germination, but based on this, I feel confident that this mix will grow just fine when I take it outside to plant after winter.

These seeds look high quality.Looks like a nice blend. The variety of mix will have a different germination rate so you will have to wait a few weeks until all will sprout.Should be planted in a full sun/light shade location. These flowers are pollution resistent since it states roadside. Not wet soil tolerant.i wont be able to comment on the results until they can be planted in the spring.

It’s still winter here so this is a preliminary review. I’ll update it in a few months based on my real-world results. 5 stars to begin with as the seeds came well packaged, with good instructions, and it’d a good sized bag for the price. Time will tell if they keep the 5 star review.

Flowering Roadside Grass Seed Mix, The Mixture of Grass, Clover and Wildflower. Low Maintenance (300 Gram)$27.955*With the weather as it is I haven't had a chance to sow this grass seed mix.I have used this brand successfully before and am confident that this mix will grow successfully. The transparent, quality packaging, clearly lists contents, and the seeds appear to be very healthy. It does not evidence any dust or other detritus. It's not cheap but it does promise a nice, cubic quantity of fresh growth, per bag.I will update once it has been sown. I'm looking forward to the results.
