Indispensable once you get used to them. They are well balanced, sharp (2/0 is np), and tough all while being lightweight.My only gripe is not being able to do 10awg stranded. That being said I found I can feather it and cut a little shallower with about 90% success rate of cutting no strands. I can imagine it being a skill thing after a while and get a never fails kinda thing.

This strippers are amazing! Clean cuts and durable. My only complaint is the cutting part doesn't open up very wide which resulted in a very botched circumcision. Rest in peace Brendan ❤️ Overall a great product tho

Great quality from Knipex as always! Definitely the sharpest and overall best wire strippers I’ve ever used. Have had them for over a year and they are holding up great with a little bit of oiling.

I am an aircraft mechanic and third world house electrician. These are by far the nicest strippers and cable cutters I have ever used. The unique ridged design of the strippers makes it very easy to hit the right size without having to read the gauge size every time. The cutter section is very sharp and strong. I wouldn’t try to cut a nail or piano wire, but for electrical wires and cables it works very well. Highly recommend for anyone who is doing more than occasional electrical work. Well worth the knipex price.

This tool was a great price and the quality is great. Cable guides take out the guess work, the shears are butter and the wider than other strip multi function tip is perfect

these are exactly what I wanted (construction electrician). i tried the klein version first, but I had to return them because they were crap quality, hurt my hands, and didn’t cut/strip anything all the way through. im glad i spent the little extra $$ for these. UPDATE: rusting already, and it audibly squeaks, after a month of use. they’re still strong and intact. I live in a humid climate, but it shouldn’t be rusting so soon since they’re always stored indoors.
