Nice bottle opener - we made a wall mounted bottle opener for our basement and was looking for a more rustic looking one and this one is perfect. Easy to install on the board and it does the job just fine.

Bought for my brother to install on the front of his Garage workbench, it does in fact open beers, some people say they had to modify theirs to get it to open beers, which begs for someone to ask if they even know how to open a beer bottle? This bottle opener secures to any wooden surface (front of a work bench, framing, plywood pver garage insulation etc.) with the enclosed wood screws and it works fine. You can replace the small screws with a couple 3"-4" deck screws and secure to any wooden structure if by some chance your he-man strength knows no bounds and you somehow manage to rip it off the wall or wherever you fastened it to. If you screwed it to the drywall, it's not the drywall that has the problem. haha.

Je l'ai installé à une hauteur de 1,2 m environ sur une poutre en chêne et ça fonctionne bien. Il est vrai que le crochetage des capsules peut être délicat mais à cette hauteur, la canette quasiment à l'horizontale, pas de souci !

works well! I was worried at first that it would be difficult to use as some wall mounted openers are, but it's great! Nice finish, and came with screws too. Really cute packaging as well!

I've added a couple of these in my house in high-bottle-opening areas - the kitchen and the living room. I have old cedar beams through out the house and the first friend that noticed the bottle opener thought it had been part of the house from decades ago. They really fit in well and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, classic, antique-looking bottle opener.
