Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He needed something more effective to mix his model paint. He had been ogling over this for some time. He was very happy to get it and loves to use it.

Updated review, the company contacted me after I returned the mixer, and offered to send me a new mixer. Wow! Very impressive.The new mixer is Awesome, I have used the mixer to mix different size and shape paints and polishes. I would definitely buy this mixer if you need one. excellent customer satisfaction. The seller reached out to me not the other way around, what a great company.AWESOME MIXER !!!!!I was very excited to use the vortex mixer. Received the Mini Vortex Mixer started to mix one bottle of paint and the mixer only worked for 30 seconds. I tried turning the mixer off and back on and unplugging the mixer. nothing worked to get the mixer to start again. This is a lot of money to only work for such a short time. I will look for another mixer for my paints.

It's hefty, sturdy, and works wonderfully. I use it for mixing many things, from airbrush primer to different types of paints, and it just works so well. The only thing I dislike, is how fragile the silicone top appears to be. Many of the bottles, that I use regularly, have twist-cap dropper style tips, and for proper thorough mixing, one often has to push the top into the mixer as much as the bottom. Being it covers a much, much smaller area of the center, it puts much more wear on that spot, and it quickly shows. To remedy this, I use folded/wadded up tissue or paper towel, which helps greatly - and also prevents any poyential mess from leaking tips, if that happens.Overall, a rather pricey, yet very worthwhile investment, imho.

I use this for mixing my hobby paints, and it has saved me so much time and effort already. Some paints really settle and seperate, and with a couple of mixing balls in the container, very quickly they are homoginized. It is kind of cool with the clearer bottles to actually watch the vortex form.It's heavy, but not in any cumbersome way. It has enough heft that, when combined with the rubber feet, it stays in place on my desk while mixing. If anything, there are occasions where it vibrates the desk enough that things want to scoot around, but the unit itself stays in place 99% of the time.On my unit, the USB out charger port doesn't work. Could I send it back? Could I take a star off? I could, but that wasn't why I bought it. I have a surplus of USB ports available for charging, and I probably wouldn't have used it much anyway.Easily one of my top ten hobby investments of 2021.
