Some reviewers mention that this unit does not work with apple type c cables bundled with macbooks and ipads. I can verify that apple type c cables do not work. However this device works remarkably with other type c chargers and cables, such as anker or aukey. Unfortunately type c has been an implementation disaster and it leads to bad experiences for those lacking a computing background.
