The Franklin Shot Zone replacement blades are molded from high impact Carlene polymer, for long lasting durability and abrasion resistance. Available in two sizes (JR and SR) and in both left and right shots, these replacement blades are intended for use with Franklin 1010 and 1020 shafts. Each blade is molded to fit a 20mm x 30mm shaft, and includes 2 self tapping screws. Intended for recreational street or roller hockey play.

Blade has lasted for me for 1.5 years and still going, despite quite a bit of abuse, slashing, and being stepped on. Can't speak for durability on concrete or asphalt as I play on a smooth surface. Good balance between flex and stiffness. Quite a bit stiffer than your typical plastic blades. The blade is very large and on the heavy side. It will help your defensive play, making for much easier pass interceptions, at the expense of some speed and control. I would say it's a mid-curve, offering pretty decent shooting.

After playing one seniors league game I noticed a crack that is about an inch and a half down the corner where the wood shaft goes in. This wasn’t an nhl level slashing a hacking game, like I said a senior men’s pickup game.
