Larger than expected, which is kinda a plus. I will put this up on a tree branch for a swing, so I appreciate the beefiness. The carabineer is about a medium size, but does have a locking mechanism which I like. However it doesn't open up all the way, so it can be tricky hooking it onto things, even stuff that isn't very thick. I can force it open wider but only if I push pretty hard and have good leverage (which for hanging stuff isn't always a lot). Time will tell how durable it is, but for now I'm overall pretty happy with my purchase.

Gave the grandkids one of those big 4-ft disc swings for Christmas last year. This product was used to hang it from the tree limb, it looks like it's doing a great job and not damaging the tree
