Alright. This will be an interesting one. Ordered this product based on entering my car’s VIN…once I did, this product was guaranteed by Amazon to fit. It arrived, looked (visually) good. Once, however, I tried to install it (it has tabs on the backside of it that click into notches on my car’s front end fender), there were only 2 tabs on the part but 4 slots on my fender…meaning, there weren’t enough contact points (tabs meeting up with slots) to get this reliably/securely clicked into place (installed). To make matters worse, its shape isn't exactly square…and the most pointed end was nowhere secure (no tab here, on the part) and actually poking out; no doubt once I started driving the wind would catch it there and easily peel the part off on the freeway. So, I either had to return it or devise a work-around by outlining the opening in my fender (where the part is supposed to cover) with high-strength Velcro and do the same on the backside of the part. I then installed it via a combination of the 2 tabs and the Velcro. Had I not already had the Velcro and an idea on how to make it work, I would have returned this product. They come in left and right sets, so as it was I bought both when I only needed one (the right-side one) so I felt overcharged. What’s the Velcro worth? A couple-three dollars but luckily I already had a roll of 10lb strength I bought for $30, otherwise you'd need a store run (more time) for that. My time is also worth something as I had to cut very narrow 1/16th of an inch strips, double them for thickness and affix to the outline of both the part, and the the outline of the opening (to get them to meet up and, in doing so, stick to one another). Guaranteed fit based on a VIN should be more than “the squarish part fit the squarish hole”; it should also mean that the part will securely attach. At the end of the day I made it work, but this part, what I had to order to get it, and what I had to jury-rig to make it work, and the time to write this incredibly detailed review, makes this part/experience pretty lame.
