This package of ten fuel filters is hard to tell from the original one, installed in my Stihl blower.These are not "in line" fuel filters. The gas or fuel/mix, does not go in one end and out the other. This kind of filter sits at the bottom of the fuel tank and filters any debris that might travel UP the fuel line. So, with this filter, you first fish out the old filter - which is attached to the fuel line. Once out, you just swap out the old for the new, and put it back into the tank. Done.These are weighted with some metal that the magnet sticks to. So, it's not lead or something nasty. The weight in the bottom of the filter, just means the filter will drop down to the bottom of the fuel tank and stay there.On inspection, the outer mesh on the fuel filer is very fine and it would certainly grab any bits of grass or vegetation that might sneak down into the tank as you refill. There is an inner material as well, very firm, that seems to filter even finer bits.With this supply of fuel filters, I will be good until the next decade! A good purchase of a good product!
