Very good replacement valve. I was able to replace my original many year old brittle valve effortlessly. The new valve does not leak and is easy to turn on and off.

I have many small engine tools and have run into issues where they have carburetor issues because of old gas. I've solve this issue by having fuel shutoffs and then starving them for fuel so that the carbs go empty of gasoline. Having a set of 5 of these fuel shutoffs has been amazing for me since I can cut the fuel line and put one of these inline and then just shut off the fuel and let the motor run out of gas when it comes time to store the tool. The quality of these shutoffs is very good and I haven't had one bind up on me. I will keep using this brand when I have the need for more shutoffs, but with 5 of these in the package, its a great value and I still have a few extra left. Overall I'd recommend these! 5 stars!

These really are a generic fuel shut off for any 1/4" fuel line. I used mine for my generator. It was a perfect replacement.The quality is good with no noticeable flaws. It was easy to install on the existing 0.25” ID lines.The only downside is the clamps are only good for hoses of about 0.5” OD. I had to use a different clamp for the one aftermarket hose which is 0.375” OD.For a few dollars each it’s competitively priced and a great value. They are a very easy “buy” recommendation.

These fuel shut-off valves are just like the factory new ones on brand new machines. If you need a fuel cut-off, either because your old one is leaking or your engine never had a shut-off, this is the one to purchase.I have always liked the bright red paddle on most of the shut-off valves I have seen, and that is exactly what the system is here, too. The paddle has a little overhang, which just gives a slightly better view of where the position is. Of course, straight along its axis is full flow, and at a 90% angle, it's a full stop. No fuel will flow.I managed to get a bit of light down into the fuel line position, and I could see the ball valve opening and closing. The best part of this? I could plainly see that the ball valve is steel - not plastic. Nice!The action of turning the paddle "on" and "off", is smooth but firm. It will not vibrate into a closed condition when running your machine. Put it to "on", and it's going to stay there.In addition to receiving five shut-offs, the company has also included ten fuel line clamps! How nice to these guys! Those sizes are always a pain to find, new and here these guys are just giving them away!I have not run one yet for a year or so, and because of that, I can't say how well these will hold up. But from what I see of the quality of the product and the quality of the company, I am going to bet these fuel shut-offs will last a long time. A great price for a great product!
