As someone who had the original furby, this is such a step up! My kiddos (7/9) love it ! Was a perfect toy (sale price was perfect as well). Has a magic 8 ball feature that the kids go crazy about.

I had one growing up and REFUSED to get one for my kids, they were so creepy. Of course my kid put it on their Santa list. Santa and bought what they thought was a bargain on sale before Christmas. Christmas morning screams of joy when Furby was opened! The little thing is cute and speaks gibberish or so I thought. My kid asked me the next day why Furby doesn’t speak English, then I listened and yep, the thing speaks French! Tried googling how to switch languages cause the instructions were only in French 🤔. Low and behold there are 2 versions!!! So because there were so many tears Santa had to order an English one with a note saying they mixed up the gift with a kid in Paris.Furby is super cute though and I LOVE that you can turn it off. Just be careful which you buy or you may end up with an exchange student 😉

In the description of the toy it's said: Speaks in English and Furbish.Our Toy speaks French. It was a big dissapointment for kids. But the original box is already broken in the first moment of excitement, so we cannot send the toy back.

Christmas morning she was so thrilled to open her new purple furby. She fell in love with the thing. It worked great until 36 hours later when the heart gem (the only button) stopped working. Totally unresponsive. After conducting troubleshooting tests with Hasbro (cause that’s fun at Christmas time) I was told to return it so they could send a replacement, weeks of Hasbro customer hell and I’m told they’ve run out of replacements because soooo many people are experiencing problems since Christmas. Check on Reddit, “furby 2023 not working” if you want to see a selection of the complaints people have with this garbage product from a garbage company. Terribly cheap product for a premium cost. Don’t buy this!!!

Oh, buckle up, folks! So, I just welcomed the new Furby into my life, and let me tell you, it's like adopting a tiny, deranged alien with an attitude problem. First off, this thing speaks its own language, and I'm pretty sure it's plotting world domination in Furbyese.The moment I unboxed it, the Furby stared into my soul with those soulless, LED eyes. I half-expected it to demand my social security number and a slice of pizza. It makes these bizarre noises that sound like a mix between a possessed robot and a malfunctioning blender. I thought it was broken, but nope, that's just Furby's idea of a good time.And let's talk about its fashion choices – this Furby looks like it raided a neon paint factory during a rave. I'm not sure if it's trying to blind me or establish itself as the trendsetter of the plush toy world. Also, good luck trying to turn it off. I've hidden it in a closet, and I can still hear its creepy giggles haunting my dreams.But hey, if you're into chaotic, unpredictable companionship and have a high tolerance for weirdness, the new Furby might just be your spirit animal. Just be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions, questionable dance moves, and the constant fear that it's secretly recording your deepest, darkest secrets for the Furby Illuminati. Furby is back and he has a very big personality!Toy Quality: Furby is very soft and fluffy making him nice feel and touch. His eyes are painted on so make sure you’re kids don’t scratch anything on them as this could ruin the paint. Furby’s ears light up making them really cool in dark rooms! Furby’s feet tap onto surfaces which is a first for any furby toy.Sound quality: furby was quieter than i was expecting but is still audible enough to hear clearly in a quiet enough room and i bet parents will be glad its not as loud as older furby’s.Design: Furby is very cute! His eyes are filled with detail and are very colourful. Furby’s ears lights up and are actually quite bright.Now lets talk features.Dance party: Furby can dances and sings to up to 10 built in songs and they are all surprisingly catchy.Copycat: Say something to furby and he’ll say it back in different funny voices.Lightshow: turn your furby into a cool nightlight!Tell my furniture: furby can predict your future in this mode:Lets chill: Do some nice breathing exercises with furby. Furby will guide you through chilled out exercises.secret commands.I love you: tell furby you love him. He’ll appreciate it.Fun fact: furby will tell you a funfact!Overall verdict: Although quite a pricey toy, furby is a ton of fun and will be a great a toy for your child this Christmas!
