I debated getting a new bed for quite awhile because I was nervous about removing the texture from my original bed and then not liking the new one. However, now that I have this bed, I wish I would have just gotten it earlier. Prints adhere without the need for glue or rafts. Most prints remove easily even without removing the top plate and flexing it. For prints that don't release easily, the top plate can be removed, flexed, and the prints pop right off. This bed is two parts. The black part is a magnet with adhesive on one side. The adhesive will need to be stuck to your buildplate. The gold part is a thin metal sheet which can be removed from the magnet and flexed to remove prints. The bed fits very well on the MP Mini Select V2, but there is not much room for error when installing it. If the magnetic part of the bed is not aligned properly, it will cover one or more of the adjustment screws.

Used glass on top of the original MPSM v2 buildtak for years, Elmer glue to help adhesion etc. This is way easier! Very little force and the parts detach readily while the plate is still warm to the touch. Completely removed the original buildtak with Goof-Off and a paper cutter blade, then replaced with the magnetic vinyl base that came with this. Still experimenting with first layer temperature, it seems 65 does the trick. The base of the print is matt but very smooth still. I am loving it now how easy it is to take the top plate off and remove parts without ever feel like you might break the glass or your hand.

Well the first problem was that the magnetic part didn't quite fit on my mini price select V2 it covered the rear screws so I had to actually grind off the corners because taking it out off to move screws wasn't that great. The other thing I found was that I needed a smaller clearance between the nozzle in the platform or else the adhesion was not great. What I had to do was level it out to within a couple of thousands print out hey 8th of an inch border of a box 4 inches and keep tweaking the screws slightly to reduce the gap until it stuck all around. I will see how it does and I can always go back to my painters tape which gave me great adhesion and not as fussy as this platform.UpdateAfter getting it to fit better on my bed and spending a lot of time working on getting it level, I really like this device. It does save me a lot of time not having to tape my build plate. So far I have no had any problems with the print not adhering after spending a lot of time getting it level. I had to place it closer to the build plate that when using tape, I know feel that it is a good update and has made my printing easier. PS I used a dial gauge to get a more precise level.

Did not receive the build plate, only the sticky base.

Bought this for my mini select v2 and it fit perfectly. Lowered the build plate and leveled. The first print was terrible. This thing needs to be leveled while hot, after that the prints were good. No need for supplemental adhesives. I found that just wiping the plate off with a microfiber cloth produces excellent results . The plate goes on and off easily, and the parts snap right off.
