This seemed like a well made part, but it did not fit my 1948 Chevy 3600 truck. Not the fault of Seller I bought, as all websites show the same part as being appropriate for my truck. I think the manufacturer bears responsibility. Seller accepted return and gave a full refund. I’m still searching for the right gas cap.
