I hate having little floater hairs in my face when I'm trying to do things so I'm often wearing a hair band. I got these because of their plain styling and at first glance, I was happy with them. The teeth in the comb are closely spaced so they hold hair well, and the band fits my big ol' pumpkin nicely. However, about the second time I put the first one on, I heard a little crackling sound from the band. Nothing happened, so I didn't think much of it. However, a day or two later, while putting it on, it cracked in two on me. I had been wearing it for 3 days at most at this point. I haven't been abusing them or doing anything crazy while wearing them, it just cracked under normal use, which obviously sucks! I'll get what use I can out of the remaining bands, but I won't be buying more, and unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone else buy them, either!

- At time of review, including all savings, it's $13.50 making it $2.25 each. Works well for my needs. Longevity is still to be determined as it's too early to tell. But so far so good as it has some flexibility and not too hard/brittle plastic.
