Love it my Henry 30-30 fits like a glove , you might have to change the straps to compensate the balance of your rifle. I did and it's perfect.

whatever they claim as a "secure" closure is a mystery to me.If you place your rifle all the way inThen use the carrying handle off the horse.....the balance point is so far to the back your rifle almost wants to leap out and crash to the ground,Not funny at all.I'm asking Zolo to contact me to explain the "secure" closure my scabbard is lackingYes, my Henry All Weather took a header and has some wonderful scratches on the receiver.There's no way my $2200 Marlin is going anywhere near this thing.ETA: there was no "Genuine Leather" tag anywhere on the scabbard or in the packingI suspect the main body material is faux leather. The properties of it are all wrong.If so that means it's worth about $20 and is not honest.

This is a well made, attractive carrying case, which, I think, is reasonably priced, considering the apparent quality. The inside fleece is thick and protective. The only thing that is a negative for me is that the carrying handle is forward of where the center of gravity seems to be, at least for my lever-action rifle. This means that if I use the handle to carry it, the butt end of the rifle will be lower than the muzzle and the rifle will slide out of the case. Perhaps it wasn’t designed to be carried using the handle since it also comes with a strap to sling it over your shoulder. Still, all in all, it’s a nice case.

Quality is definitely there, design is great! , but for one type of rifle set up, they should build it to have adjustment for scope mounted rifles
