This is a great product! I have cancer, seasonal allergies, bad nausea and a hint of health issues. I wanted a product like this to help clean the air some as I spend a lot of time at home. The blue light germ killing feature is a wonderful extra!

When our air cleaner tells us to clean the filter. We change the units filter and vacuum excess dust out of air cleaner. The quality is great on this air cleaner, very happy with it so far. The white noise is very soothing in this cleaner during the night.

In terms of specifications comparing to the original, it looks almost identical (pls ignore the dust on the old one). Function wise I don't think it helps with the smell /voc at all. More just a added layer of dust filter to me.

Easy to install, velcro installation. Works ok, not sure if it is as thick and dense as the original filter that came with unit. The cutting doesn't seem to be as straight and clean as the old filter that I removed that came with the original machine. Won't know if it traps as much dust and lasts as long as original filter unless I am able to provide an update in 6 months. The original filter seems to be able to be washed and re-usable but I didn't try.

I have ordered these on more than one occasion. These ones are the genuine originals that came with the machine. When compared to a different brand of the same size, these original ones are much thinner than the other brand(Filter buy). The "off brand" that I just mentioned are twice as dense, ensuring that the super expensive HEPA filter doesn't get clogged up before its time. The "off brand" ones are not so thick that the machine's fan has to over work. Choose what you will.

Works as expected and more. Traps dust wonderfully and is easy to clean. I rub mine outside on some hedges and the dust and lint comes right off and the filter does not tear. The filters that came with my unit were very thin and flimsy. I would recommend this product.

Well I also ordered a replacement hepa filter for the germ guardian and wrote my review for these filters under the hepa filter, so they both arrived quickly packaged properly. Now the hepa filter is expensive but will last a longtime with changing your pre filters regularly that do not cost as much. All in all the germ guardian works way better then I expected. Well worth the money

I love my germ guardian! Honestly I've been living with allergies all my life, (I have a cat I'm super allergic to as well) but I ran the germ guardian for one day and had absolutely the best sleep I've had in years! No sniffling and sneezing! I will warn you though, the lowest setting is whisper quiet, so great for bed time, but setting 2 and especially setting 3 are quite loud. You would not be able to sleep with this setting on. I run it on high during the day. Hope this helps
