The insights are practical, easy to understand, and incredibly impactful. Every time I revisit it, I discover something new that helps me grow and improve. It’s one of those rare books that stays relevant no matter how many times you read it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for guidance and inspiration!

There's more advanced negotiation skill which easier to learn, more bulletproof and get the real result exist.Think about this, your husband, your kids "yes yes yes yes" to you everyday. Does it really mean yes? "Getting to the Yes" doesn't mean "You're right"

this one is a keeper. 1981 publication doesn't diminish the impact of the book, although an update beyond the 3rd edition using more up to date examples would be appreciated. By using so many Middle East examples even those of us who were alive then don't necessarily know the details rending some of the examples a challenge. BUT the concepts are rock solid and great for humans of all sorts of working situations.

Informative good read worth spending time. In some case the book requires some updates though. Will give a four out of five.

This is a book that spells out the concepts and then gives you the direction you need to implement those concepts without further ado.You can read it in an afternoon and benefit from it for a lifetime. The book was exactly the right length. The author said everything that needed to be said and then moved on.

This book may change the way I negotiate. Most of what the authors say in the book could fall under the category of “common wisdom”. The good thing about this book is that it organizes such common wisdom in a way that a negotiator can use it to his benefit. One of the classic books on negotiation worth reading.
