Totally useless, this mute is like a mini mute & doesnt fit a trumpet except to block off the sound altogether. They picture it as a full sized mute bit it is only 5" long and 2.5 inches wide, don't buy this, it's a toy that doesnt work.

I don't know what musician used this on a cornet, but it doesn't work at all in both of mine. Bought as a backup mute, this is absolute junk. 1 star is too much. $13 for garbage.
