Not stamped as and metal as it's brass and gold plated which is indicated in the description. Comes in a small gift box. Chain looks great. Can't tell it's not real gold by appearance. Feels strong.

The chain is thin and dainty so makes a great layering piece. I mix it with my other fine jewelry and it blends in very well. I have kept it on for days and even showered with it and does not discolor.You could wear it alone as well and it would give you a nice subtle sparkle.
