Maintenance Tips
- Check the heat. An overheated projector puts stress on the projector lamp and can cause it to explode.
- Give it a rest. An average use of four to five hours per day will ensure longer projector lamp life.
- Keep it clean. Be sure to clean the air filters every 3 months or more often if there is a lot of dust. Regular maintenance will prolong the projector lamp life.

My Optoma is getting up there in age, and I will take what I can get as my options become more and more limited. This unit was installed and worked as expected, but the life span was very short, with well under 1000 hours of runtime.
