Boz Scaggs fait partie des artistes dont on parle peu mais mériteraient d'être mieux connus en France; si vous aimez Mike Mc Donald, Donald Fagen,(pas étonnant qu'il soient très potes) vous ne serez pas dépaysé par ce joli cd Live qui rassemble les titres les plus connus de l'artiste en question.Un grand moment de Soul, Funk, Blues and Jazzy.

CS放送で本CDと同内容のLIVE映像を観たところ良かったので、購入しましたAORブームの火付け役であるボズのメローな曲も良いですが、DISC2-7のバリバリのブルースは最高です。スタジオ盤ではデュアン・オールマンのギター・ソロが入った曲なので、正直、あまり期待していなかったのですが、ボズ本人が責任をもって（？）ソロを弾く本LIVEは予想外に良いですねぇ！！！オールマン同様、ギターが歌っています！

This is one of the best Dvds you will ever see. The picture is fantastic and the sound perfectly recorded in all surround channels in crystal clear DTS. The backup singers are upfront on stage and they deserve to be. Both are incredibly talented and almost steal the show. A must have for Scaggs fans.

Boz Scaggs kenne ich seit den Achtzigern. Kaufte mir damals mal ne Platte (Other Roads) und das war's. Dann lernte ich jemanden kennen, der bekennender Boz Scaggs Fan ist. Und ich denke so bei mir: Boz Scaggs... gibt's den auch noch?? Oh ja, und wie es den noch gibt! Vorliegende Doppel CD ist ein Live Album. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt ist Boz 68 Jahre alt! Unglaublich. Er hat sich super Talente für dieses Live Album auf die Bühne geholt und allein das Lied "Look what you've done to me" ist einfach der Hammer. Die beiden Damen im Background runden diesen Song mit ihren göttlichen Stimmen ganz wundervoll ab. Boz selbst klingt reif und erwachsen und man spürt ganz einfach, dass er gelebt hat. Jedes seiner Lieder spricht von gelebten und gemachten Erfahrungen, Schmerz, Trauer und Liebe. Er singt das Leben.... Und man nimmt ihm jede Strophe ab. Man liebt ihn dafür.Ein wunderbares Album, sehr empfehlenswert!!Lieferung wie immer superschnell und in 1A Zustand.

I don't know why it is, but until recently I hadn't owned any live albums by Boz Scaggs. 'Silk Degrees' is, of course, a classic, and everything he's done from 'Some Change' onwards has been terrific. I recently bought the excellent remastered version of 'Silk Degrees', and was very impressed by the three live bonus tracks. This led me to buy this 2CD live set dating from 2004.And I have to say it is a revelation. Scaggs and the band are far more jazz-flavoured live than on many of the studio albums. The five songs originating from 'Silk Degrees' are excellent, but a big surprise here was to find myself really liking some tracks I didn't particular enjoy in their original studio format.The best tracks on Disc 1, for me, are 'It All Went Down the Drain' and 'Ask Me Bout Nothin But the Blues', though it should be stressed that the overall quality is remarkably consistent. The second disc is even better than the first. 'Runnin Blue' is an excellent eleven-minute epic, and my favourite track of the lot is 'Loan Me A Dime' - the studio version (with the legendary Duane Allman on guitar) is a very hard act to follow, but Boz and the band deliver an excellent (and even longer -almost sixteen minute) version of the song here.Throughout this live set, Scaggs and the band are on top form. I particularly liked Drew Zingg's guitar work, and the trumpet and sax contributions, too, work really well. All in all, a real top-flight album. I can't recommend it too strongly!
