Overall, really solid and affordable electric trimmer + blower. The trimmer handles my medium size yard on the provided two amp battery just fine. However, there isn't really enough juice to use the blower after, so a second battery is practically a must (unless you want to wait 2 hours for the provided battery to recharge). The battery did end up going out after just a month of use, which is a bummer, but greenworks is sending me a replacement with practically no hassle or 20 page questionnaire with what you did wrong. 10/10 customer service, I'll update my review when the new battery arrives. Apparently, I purchased my kit from a re-seller and the battery was manufactured in May 2022. Not a real excuse, but understandable in terms of quality control.I've since purchased three 5 amp batteries and have had zero complaints with either tool. Will update my review once the replacement 2 amp battery arrives.

Purchased the 24V Greenworks trimmer and blower combo to compliment my 80v mower and back pack blower . Trimmer and blower are not the same quality and after 2 uses , correct 2 uses the trimmer is not working properly . There seems to be a bad connection as it does not want to start after a couple of uses . Its not overheating just seems to be poorly made . Not impressed as I was a huge GREENWORKS advocate . It is also not easy to turn the head of the trimmer to get it to work as a edge trimmer as it gets stuck . Again only after a couple of uses .

Just as I expected, reasonable power and with the 2nd battery I can easily trim and blow my entire front and back yards on one charge with lots left over.

I bought this lightweight consumer blower and trimmer so my wife could use it. The blower has reasonable power and works pretty well for blowing off the sidewalk etc. and a few leaves. We were happy but after a short time, even on a full charge, the blower would start up and then quit after a few seconds. The battery indicated a full charge. Sometimes it did work, other times it didn't. Sometimes after it quit a few seconds in, I'd put it on the charger for an hour, try again and it would work for about 20 minutes, enough to do my normal size residential property. I called Greenworks "customer service"... they tried to tell me that I wasn't charging the battery enough... not so. They didn't offer any solution at the time, saying to try it again and call them back. I had tried it, about a dozen times! The last time I tried it, it worked... so now it's winter and I won't need it till spring. More unreliable Chinese-made "stuff"...

These two product are great and easy to use. The blower in particular. I was disappointed with the battery which at times when using with the blower gives out very quickly even tho it show it is fully charged. This is very annoying. I also purchased a second battery which seems to be working fine and always hold a charge. Iam thinking the battery that came with the blower and trimmer is defective.

The battery life is only 35 mins on one usage. If that can be extended to 60 mins. It will be perfect. The machine is very light and handy and very easy to use.

Not the most powerful, and I would not get it for a big yard. My yard is small and it works great. Would not get it tall grass. Blower is ok, not as powerful as corded or higher volt cordless. Good battery life. Good price and works well if u don’t need high power cordless.

I have a 80V greenworks lawn mover that I love and a 24V hedge trimmer that is also excellent. I was looking forward to replacing my black and decker grass hog with it's 18V, 10-minute battery life and I was hoping to have a blower that would do the basics so I don't have to trail a 100' extension cord everywhere. The trimmer is ok except for one major flaw: the auto feed/line feed. I could not get it to extend more line, following the instructions to pause for 2 seconds and then resume, instead I found myself having to manually extend the line. This is too annoying to describe. Also, since the line wears down quickly, you are often bumping into the guard and not having the full 12" of cutting space anyway. I found the power and battery longevity to be fine, so if it simply had the autofeed working, maybe this would work, although I am still not excited about having to pause every few seconds to cause it to feed more line. The black and decker grass hog just auto-feeds as it needs to and works great. The blower...is a joke. I was blowing away the grass I had trimmed and thought it wasn't very powerful, so I put my hand over the end and basically...my wife's hair dryer puts out more wind than this device. I have a corded blower which can practically peel paint; this device kinds of suggests that leaves move along and is slightly more useful than a broom. When I bought the mower, I opted for the more expensive PRO version and am so glad I did. These items here appear to be the low-end consumer market versions of greenworks products--although again, I would say for the line trimmer, it's a solid device except for the line feed issues.

I got this for my wife because my gas-powered backpack blower is too heavy for her and my hand-held corded blower requires too much extension cord for our 200+ foot long driveway. Also, while I have a corded edger with a metal blade, its extension cord is also a lot of trouble.Blower --Pros --It weighs about 6 pounds with a battery. It is much more convenient to use for light jobs such as blowing off our deck, garage, and light accumulation on the driveway.Cons --A 24v 2AH battery comes with this set, but it takes two batteries which last about 10 minutes each to blow our driveway despite the fact that leaves are not very heavy this time of year.At just 300 cubic feet per minute, the blower can handle a few leaves and light, straight sticks up to a foot or so, but in the fall, my backpack blower can barely handle the piles of leaves that accumulate on our lawn and driveway. I doubt that it can handle the job even if we do it every day. Hopefully I will have recovered from shoulder surgery enough by then to be able to use the backpack blower.I would have preferred the 80v 500CFM model, but an additional 80v battery alone costs more than this whole system and that blower weighs twice what this one does.Trimmer --Pros -- The trimmer runs about 15-20 minutes on a charge. I was easily able to edge along the driveway and sidewalks by the house before losing power. The biggest surprise was that this string trimmer cuts through the grass which had not been edged this year much faster and more easily than the corded edger. The self-advancing string works well and that makes things go faster. Changing between trimming and edging is quick and easy as is changing the angle of the trimmer. The adjustable length pole-handle makes it easier for both my 6'4" self and my shorter wife to use. The movable handle on the pole makes it easy to hold and control the trimmer. There is plentry of power for doing any normal trimming and edging. It is also lightweight - around 5 pounds, if thatEven if you don't want the blower, I would get one of these trimmers.Cons -- None.Battery --The 24v 2AH battery that comes with it does not maintain a charge very long - about 10 minutes for the blower on max up to about 15 minutes on 3-quarters. Some reviewers are saying that they are getting longer times, but I have 3 of these 2AH batteries and they all last about the same time. It was bad enough that I eventually bought the which lasts about 25 minutes using the blower on max. You should definitely plan on getting a 2nd battery. Even if you can clear your driveway in 10 minutes or less, then you have to wait 3.5 hours for the battery to recharge if you want to use the trimmer.Charger --My 3 batteries each take 3.5 hours to recharge on the included charger when fully depleted. For about $17, you can get a which will charge the 4AH battery in about 90 minutes and the 2AH batteries in about an hour.
