This thing sucks. My device barely fits in it . Once you get it in it's a pain to get it out so it will definitely give wear and tear on the corners and sides of the device. It hugs the device so tight it will do more damage than anything.

I have a case problem, I have drawers full. I wasn’t happy with the stock case for my RG40XX-Vs, nor with the other (aftermarket) case I picked up. This, on the other hand, is dang near perfect. It’s actually a bit deeper than it needs to be, but that’s more of an issue if you have limited bag space or are trying to stack several of these compactly. I may or may not know the second example first hand. In any case, it's not excessive and keeps your storage area from pushing on the console.I included pictures of this excellent case with my white RG40XX-V in it. Please note that if you have the silicone sleeve on your RG40XX-V it likely will not fit because the stock console fits very snugly inside this case “as-is.” See the images for just how snugly. The console does not rattle inside, and it is held securely enough by the elastic band so it doesn’t really move at all. I prefer a zippered storage area, which this lacks, but the case fits so well I’m not taking any ‘points’ off for it. (Besides, it’s a preference of mine and not an actual flaw.)The case is well constructed, with an integrated wrist strap which is sturdy and wide. Here also I would prefer a ring and detachable wrist strap, but that’s my preference. The case is stiffened, not hard like ABS, but hard like a stiffened heavy nylon fabric and doesn’t flop or give much. The case has enough give that it would likely provide some shock resistance in a drop, which is a plus, but would not deform like a soft case would.I prefer cases with this construction, and this one is an exemplar of the style.I also really appreciate the screen/front protector flap in this design. I consider this a huge plus, and prefer it with all my console cases. It makes all the difference with a slightly deeper case like this, and it's deeply appreciated because it helps prevent extra pressure from causing screen issues on the console.I’m already thinking about getting another of these cases for my second 40XX-V console -- this is so much better than the two I was using, and for me that’s the vote of confidence in a product: I ask myself if I would buy it to replace something I already have because it’s that much better . . . In this case yes. Absolutely.

This case, which is built to fit the Anbernic RG40XXV, is pretty decent for the price. The material is pretty nice, but could be a smidge higher quality. The device fits in the case just fine. For only $15 or so, its a relatively inexpensive way to preorect the device while transporting it.
