Good quality image in both daylight and when it switches to night vision. Captures the back seat well and I have a very clear view of baby without needing to turn my head. The display holds in place well and is easy to see even in bright daylight.

Overall I think this is an amazing option and definitely worth the price. Here is my experience:Pros:- Installation. It is very easy to install. The screen piece is suctioned to the windshield and the camera is attached with straps to the seat's head rest.- High Resolution. This is just as high resolution as a mirror with the added bonus of a more close up visual.- Night Vision. I love how high the quality of the night vision is as I have not found any other form of mirror or the like that will provide such powerful views in the dark without turning on a light and either creating a reflection or waking up the child.Cons:- I don't love that it needs to be plugged in. I would have preferred it to be battery powered as this means it is constantly taking up a plug in the car and cannot stay on if the car is off.

The baby car camera works well during the day and has a clear view. The night vision feature, however, could be better. Itโs a bit hard to see clearly in low-light situations. The wide view angle is great for keeping an eye on the baby, but the camera could use some improvements for night-time visibility. Itโs still helpful but not perfect.

Installed within a couple minutes, took some time to do some wire management though and hide the cables around my car so it looks flush. However, camera quality is great and the IR camera works well at night for those long drives.

It's a good price point for what you get. The good parts are easy installation, everything you need is included in the box, I was able to make this work with a Mercedes and the previous one I purchased would not, the picture is clear even in the evening time and it's cute! The bad is CLA is the only option unless you purchase something else or have something else laying around, the cords are a lot and I'm a bit of a neat freak so wireless would be a good thing to implement even if it meant a higher price point and you have to unplug this from the CLA when you're done because my car CLA keeps working even after it's powered off so the camera would stay on.

This baby monitor car cam works exactly as advertised and allows me to have a clear picture of my baby while driving. It works much better than our previous mirror system which required me to see my baby through glances in my rear view mirror, and didn't work at night when the backseat was dark.However, there are some things that I don't love about this camera system and why I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars.First, it has to plug into the cigarette lighter (which some cars may not have), and then has a series of long wires which you have to run between or around the seats that attach to the monitor and also the astronaut camera. The wires get in the way of shifting the car, and despite the instructions provided in the package, it's a hassle to figure out how best to hide the wires so they are not a hazard in the car. The whole system would be better if it were wireless or used Bluetooth.Also, the camera doesn't turn off when you turn off the car, and instead need to turn it off manually at the part that plugs into the cigarette lighter.Plus, it mounts in the car using a foam 3M sticker, which may work for some, but in the hot Florida sun, those stickers melt fast and become a sticky mess.All in all, the picture is clear and colors are okay, and I definitely like seeing a better picture of my little one without taking my eyes too far off the road. He likes looking at the astronaut figure and it attaches securely, so I'm not worried it would fall on my baby. Just wish it were wireless and mounted in a different way!

I got this for my forward facing toddler, and obviously the standard infant mirror would no longer be of use to me. Let's be real, its a $30 camera.. the quality is good based on this information alone. The responsiveness is very good; there is very little lag, if any. The colors are okay. There is no obvious warping or 'fish eye' present in the picture. The screen often times has yellow and blue discoloration, and I think I figured out that it is because the camera doesn't like our all jet black seats. My reason for deducting a star is the lack of mounting and install options. Specifically, the only way to plug in and power both the camera and monitor are via cigarette lighter; most cars today have USB options as well. Also, i would have liked the cord to have been longer for the monitor. The section of the cord for the camera is plenty long enough to reach the 3rd row of my SUV. Finally, while I appreciate the straps for the camera (it stays in place, though it is lacking in range of motion for positioning), the only way to mount the monitor is via peel and stick pads. I will never permanently adhere anything to my car. I currently have it sitting in the cubby in the center console, but I have to find a way to declutter the whole area now with the screen and all the cords now present. Despite my gripes, I do still feel as though this is a good budget camera that serves the purpose intended. I can still certainly recommend it with those thoughts in mind.

I like that the camera is cute. I wish it was able to pivot around though. The image quality is good. Nice long cables.I have my baby seated rear facing, in the middle seat, in the back seat of my Tesla Y. No camera or mirror has worked out, iykyk. I was able to make this one work. I used both of the camera straps to wrap around the with of the middle arm rest and then strapped the extra over the top. The angle worked out once in put the camera on the crease of the arm rest. Overall happy with camera.

We recently switched from a traditional baby car mirror to the GROWNSY baby car camera, and I wish weโd made the change sooner.
