Although the tape is permanent, it can be removed from face to face adhesive contact cleanly with no loss of performance during the application (meaning, if you accidentally fold a piece onto itself while removing the backer, you can still peel it apart).

This tape is the best, it’s pricy but worth it. Sticks really well to anything and if it sticks to itself you can pull it apart. I used it for support posts at the ground level and it looks great goes on easy if it lasts half as long as they say it’s the bomb.

Purchased this to help seal my back door. It gets hit with all the weather. Very sturdy it’s help up against the sun and the rain!

I like this better than other brand as it's easy to peel. I'm using this to flash my deck joists and beams, etc...

Good product for sure and even though i don't have a long term test, better safe than sorry. it adheres like crazy to the wood after a couple of days. No doubt it will add some life to your deck for sure from water in the wood checking, and additional splitting from screws. Even better use this and plug your deck, not use all the other fancy stuff if you want more prevent of water to the top of the joists checks
