The output is decent. They are not scattered light patterns like some bulbs on the market. Fairly bright but Unfortunately they will not last. Less than 1 year and half a bulb burnt out. A few weeks later the whole bulb is burnt out. I suspect the fan quit and bulb over heated. The second bulb fan struggling so it’s a matter of time before I’m left in the Darkness.

The light output of these bulbs is incredible. I used them in lower running lamps, and they add 60% or so more light to the road over my LED projector lens headlights. They are properly aimed and have little waste / wash light spill. Easy install and very quiet fans.

Snagged these for my 2015 grand Cherokee 3 years ago today! They are incredibly bright in the projector housings my jeep comes with in the fogs. Great light and I run them every day and are still working perfectly!Well worth it for the wk2 grand Cherokee!

Been testing the bulbs nice packaging and good quality build;PROs:- Neat and nice packaging- looks and feels solid- bright *- easy install *- competitive price- adjustable collar- 6000k color- 2 year WarrantyCONs:- Minor - I have to adjust the bulb to properly orient in installation- a bit noisy because of the cooling fan- tends to get hotIn summary the bulbs are great but not awesome. * The brightness is there but the throw distance is no in par even with the halogen bulbs. it tends to be more of a flood. It's adequate enough but if you want to go with distance I would go with HID's. * Make note when installing proper orientation of the bulb makes a difference loosen the set screw, align it and tighten it back again. Color is spot on it gives a good bright output with the ships used.It's early to say about the durability of the bulbs. I've tested some brands before and the fan gave in a few months, especially on the harsh weather we have here in Canada. Luckily the item are covered with a 2 year warranty. Overall I'm pleased with the bulbs just take some consideration on some of my observations upon purchase.

Tried a couple different LED's but found out that Jeep (at least for this year) is quite fussy about resistance and won't allow most LED's to stay on without a Resistor Kit. Seems Late 2015 into 2016 models of Cherokee need the resistor kit. CAR ROVER supplies their own Resistor kit ---making it compatible with their LED light Kits. Installing is easy once you get past where the Cherokee locates it's headlight opening (yeah, kinda annoying--check YouTube videos first)-- but once you dive in, hook both Kits together and Viola! Check polarization of the plug as it will make a difference which way it's plugged in. kits are a bit too bulky to tuck inside the lamp housing so you cannot utilize the dust cover without drilling an access hole. I just zip-tied the wiring to a brkt and other wire harness that lives nearby. So far it's looking like this is the best LED light for the Cherokee! The fog lights were a breeze as they don't care what goes in(as long as it's a PSX24W style). I personally got the BPS 100watt kit and they are an awesome upgrade from stock! So, if you have a Cherokee with Halogens, I can recommend this CAR ROVER 9005 bulb and Resistor kit - You'll love the difference these make!
