I obtained these coconut shell bird houses for song birds to use this spring. They are actual coconuts hollowed out to serve as a bird house. Perfect! Except I think they are more suited for wild, tiny song birds and I'm looking forward to seeing if they will set up house on my balcony, where there is a bird bath and three bird feeders full of seeds to feed on!Although I don't have parakeets, I'm very pleased with these bird houses and will make the most of them!

These coconut bird houses should be a nice addition to the little birds in my area. I’m wondering how they’ll hold up outside in the elements. However I have used candle wax for one and a cutting board oil for another to see if they help prolong them. They arrived well packed and without flaw. Overall I have no issues and will update with any other findings. Thanks for your time!
