This kit is the old mold of the F-14 with raised panel lines and lower parts count. I actually don't mind raised panel lines as it allows one to highlight them with a sharp pencil. This would be a great kit to use if you're fairly new to the hobby or are building a series of F-14s as it is more simple assembly with adequate detail and good parts fit. And it's comparatively inexpensive.

Great kit. I love having the option for decals between the Sundowners and Jolly Rodgers. The kit was delivered way ahead of schedule and it was in pristine condition.

No flaps and slats drop. Just a straight forward wing. Otherwise, details are pretty good.

Comes with decals for Jolly Roger's squadron and Sundowners.These 1/72 kits are great for kids learning to build. Good fit, good size, not too hard to build.
