I can never have enough hooks in my garage, and needed a couple to hang some heavy duty extension cords so I picked these up. The hooks themselves are very solid and can support a good amount of weight. The coated part is nice to protect the finish if you are hanging something you don’t want scratched up. The screws could be a bit beefier, but they will probably do the job. I ended up using some longer screws just in case I decide to hang some heavier items on the hooks in the future. All in all these are some really nice hooks for a good price.

The steel garage hooks are as advertised. There were no defects, the bends were at the correct angles and the coating was intact.These are strong and thick. The size is generous, big enough for a ladder. There is a coating on the lower part to prevent scratching your tools or ladder. It's not the shiny vinyl coating you usually see but a rougher, pebble-y PVC. It has a lot of friction to it so whatever you hang isn't going to slide.The included hardware is an appropriate size for the hooks and the weight they'll carry. They give you wall anchors but it's really best to mount these to a stud if you can. Each set of hardware is in its own zip-top bag which is nice if you don't use all the hooks at once it keeps them contained.Of course they're good for ladders and such but they'd also work for D-handled garden tools or power equipment. What I plan to do is use them for off-season storage of our lawn mower and snow blowers. They're battery powered and mostly plastic so they're quite light-less than the 50 pound per hook rating (stud mounted, not drywall). It would certainly free up some garage floor space. Glad to have them.

While we did use our own wall anchors to affix these hooks to our walls, they do a great job holding our drying racks while not in use. 10/10 would recommend.
