We purchased this to keep tabs on an elderly parent living with us that has Parkinson's and dementia/hallucinations, but trying to be as independent as possible/practical. It has exceeded our expectations and allows us to see if they are struggling or having an episode where we would need to intervene. On several occasions we have checked in to find them on the floor and unable to recover, so we could come in and help or found that they were having severe hallucinations and had left their bed and were wandering around the house. It also has a configurable audio sensor to pick up on loud or more quiet sounds/conversations/nightmares/accidents. Since it is portable we can also unplug it from our bedside to take with us around the house as needed.

The screen is so clear & I love how smoothly and easily you can move the camera around from the handheld screen to watch what's going on. Has good range too, I was quite impressed. The only major flaw for this is the horrible battery life for the screen. It dies very fast and takes a very long time to charge, that's the only reason for 4 stars, everything else is 5 stars.

We are so happy with our new monitor and the customer service from the HelloBaby team! Our first HelloBaby monitor screen broke after barely over a year of use and it is discontinued and not able to replace just the screen. They offered us a generous discount to the complete unit and we were able to upgrade to this model. The image quality especially at night is amazing! We can even see baby's little eyelashes! The split screen viewing is ideal for watching two kids at once. These new cameras have a nightlight option which is amazing! It is not too bright and perfect for the middle of the night wake ups. The range is fantastic on these units, our babies room is on the second floor of our home and I can reach all the way out into our backyard garden. There is only one slightly negative thing I have to say about this unit is the temperature reading is not accurate it reads approximately 5-8 degrees Celcius higher than the room actually is

Clear picture, great sound quality. I’ve had it almost 3 months, and the actual monitor stopped holding a charge(even while plugged up). Customer service responded in a timely manner and shipped out a whole new system even after the return window closed through Amazon.

I had a 2nd hand vtech baby monitor, the battery life and video quality were terrible. This unit is a huge upgrade, the picture quality is great! I can actually see my lo on the monitor. The battery life as been great so far, 1 full charge and last through the night which is what I was looking for. Initial I had some issues with charging the unit, but I've reached out to the seller and they were able to resolve my issue by sending me a replacement unit. The only thing is switching from night mode to daylight gets delayed, sometimes I have to move the camera angle then it will switch to daylight mode, minor concern not a deal breaker.

We have the older model of the Hellobaby monitor and love it! We love this one more!! It has a big screen, a night light on it, clear picture during day and night (night vision is really clear). I like the split screen idea better than the older version which switches back and fourth between cameras every few seconds. It has clear sound. I like how the volume button is on it's own instead of having to go through settings to find it. I also like how it has the date and time on the screen! It's an overall amazing monitor!! I will keep buying them in the future!! 😀

We really love this baby monitor! The best thing about it is that it doesn’t need Wi-Fi. We have another camera that’s Wi-Fi connected, and when the Wi-Fi stops working (which happens a lot), it’s such a headache. This one works perfectly every time without any of that hassle.The video and sound quality are great, and being able to move the camera using the monitor is such a nice feature. The signal is super reliable no matter where we are in the house. Overall, it’s been awesome and exactly what we needed!

We upgraded from an older version. The night vision is SO clear. I love how the volume and brightness are accessible on the home buttons and don’t have to go into the settings. Easy to use and navigate. I love how big the screen is and how clear the picture is.

When I was looking into purchasing a baby monitor, I knew I wanted to avoid one that required wifi. We love this brand and this monitor, I recommend it to all my expecting friends as we have only good things to say about the quality. The battery life is great, camera quality is amazing. We love the nightlight option and lullabies. It has great range, I can sit out back on the deck and no connection issues at all. Overall it’s an amazing product and their customer service is even better!!
