I've started moving to better-made painting tools for a variety of reasons: they're typically better-performing in all aspects, and they last a long time. This set is exemplary because it's made so sturdily. Compared to the plastic ones I have bought before, which tend to start slipping and turning under pressure or outright break, this handle is proving to be very sturdy. I've used and washed it a few times now (always wash after each use, it's the right thing to do), and it still looks brand new. The accessories are fine, and the rollers work very well, with no material being left behind while painting. It's a really good set, and should last you many years.

This paint roller & pan set is amazing. The brush and rollers are SUPER high quality. The pan is made out of recycled materials, which is awesome. This set is compact enough to be stored in a small space, but the rollers are the perfect size to paint doorframes (which is what I had in mind when I ordered these). I have been slowly painting our new house over the last few months and this roller set was exactly what I needed to finish the details and door frames. As someone who has spent 100 hours painting this year, I feel confident recommending a good painting tool. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it. This is high quality, works great, and is a fantastic value for the price.

It's a nice tool. Small as the ad says, 4". It has a nice handle and come with a lot of rollers which is great. I alo like that it comes with its own pan. Not sure if it's worth $25 though. But maybe with all the extras it comes with it worth it.

Build quality seems to be great. Small size is great for small projects or getting in to tight spaces. I like the idea of the on plastic tray it comes with. Would reccomend

This is a great little paint roller. The handle is smooth and feels good in my hand. The pai t gets rolled on smoothly and evenly. Easy to clean up too. I recommend this!

This is a really nice roller set with a sturdy bamboo handle and a set of sleeves.The tray is actually compostable but also reusable and although I'm using it with water based paints, I'm not sure yet if it would hold up to oil based and white spirits with all the cleaning.Can you compost this if it's still got paint on though?Down the road it will obviously biodegrade far faster than the plastic trays so it's preferable to using an all plastic one (especially if you aren't someone who likes to clean it often)Comes in a nice box as a set as well.

Needed something smaller than my monster 9-inch roller for sprucing up baseboards and the frame of the front door, so I grabbed this Hemway bamboo kit and it's good. The bamboo handle feels sturdy but super light, the sleeves pop on without wrestling, and the 4-inch width is perfect for tight spots where a big roller would splatter everywhere. I love that the tray and stir stick are made from eco material instead of more plastic (bonus points for the planet). Paint loads evenly and the mid-pile leaves a pretty smooth finish—just don’t dunk it like a donut or you’ll get drips. After two rooms’ worth of trim the first sleeve started to flatten a bit, but there are three backups in the box, so no biggie. Tray’s on the flimsy side, but I lined it with foil and it survived. For quick jobs and touch-ups this set saved me time and cleanup hassle.

This is a decent little 4" roller starter set that includes four 9mm pile rollers, the roller handle with a thick, chunky bamboo handle, a thin piece of bamboo as a stir stick for some reason, and a surprisingly nice sugarcane-based tray.The rollers are good for basic duty and will provide a bit of texture to the surface. I personally prefer a caged handle but this stick-type one is certainly easier to source refills for. I have big hands, though, and the roller handle is a bit too chunky for deft work, mostly because it's round and not very ergonomic. It does, at least, have a properly threaded spot at the base for putting on a typical extension pole.The stir stick is just sort of there - you get these for free most places when you buy their paint and they're made of wood anyway. It's usable, at least.I do like the tray, but given the handle and four rollers it's maybe a bit strange that there is only a single tray - and no inserts or anything like that. I guess the inserts wouldn't fit with the renewable theme unless they were corn-based plastic, but unless you're painting a lot of one colour you'll be moving to a new tray and/or roller bucket relatively quick.Overall, though, a nice starter set with a renewable theme, with an uncomfortable handle the only real caveat.

The paint roller kit comes with a roller, four rolling brushes, paint tray, and a mixing stick giving what you need to start your next paint job. The size of the roller as well as the accommodating sleeves are four inches so best for smaller projects or ones with finer detail needed. The roller handle is made of bamboo as is the mixing stick so the durability and longevity is fairly high. The bamboo wood is smoothed out so handling the roller is comfortable and provides a smooth rolling motion when in use. The tray is made of a faux plastic and is light to carry as well. The rolling brushes provide even coverage when using the roller so you get a nice even coat. Overall, the paint roller kit is small but high quality and the type of paint experience it provides is comfortable yet efficient in terms of its painting ability.

Nice solid wood handle, very sturdy, this handle will last forever if kept clean after use. While I would never use a roller of this size for "walls and ceilings" as the packaging states it was the perfect size for touching up my scuffed baseboards in an area of heavy traffic. The included rollers did a fine job with one coat and didn't leave any lint/fibres behind that I could tell. Company seems to be in the UK.

I picked up this set to help with repainting some tired-looking skirting boards, door frames, and a few bits of wall where previous attempts at patching had left uneven colour. I wanted something compact that didn’t feel like overkill for small jobs, and this seemed ideal with the 4-inch roller size and eco-friendly bamboo details.Straight away, the roller frame feels comfortable to hold and is noticeably lighter than some I've used before. The sleeves slot on easily and don't slide off mid-use, which I appreciated. They hold paint well and give a decent finish on flat surfaces like doors or cabinets. The coverage is fairly smooth, though you will want to go over things a couple of times if you’re looking for a solid finish. I used standard emulsion and it worked fine, though you may need to watch out for drips if you overload the roller.The tray is functional but very lightweight, and because it’s made from recycled material, it doesn’t feel as durable as others I’ve used. It’s definitely more of a disposable feel, which is a shame considering the bamboo handle and eco-friendly marketing. I did like the inclusion of the bamboo stirring stick, though. It’s surprisingly solid and didn’t splinter or bend while mixing.Where it didn’t quite meet expectations was with how quickly the sleeves seemed to flatten. After just a couple of uses, the pile didn’t bounce back the way I’d hoped. They still work, but not as well, so if you're planning on using these rollers across a few jobs, keep that in mind.Overall, it’s a handy little set for small areas and touch-ups, especially if you're trying to reduce plastic use. Just don't expect the rollers to hold up long term under heavier use.

I needed a small roller to handle some touch-ups on our kitchen wallpaper, which has become prone to marks over the years.... This did the job. A solid handle, 3 small rolls, and a tray that is just the right size for my particular needs. If you're doing a big space, then get a larger size than this, otherwise you'll be at it all day. But if you need to handle smaller spaces, or those which require a finer touch, this will do the job well.
