I ordered these 'HETECH' cables to connect two 100Ah Lifepo4 batteries in parallel. There is no labelling or markings on either of the cables giving me a very good reason for further visual inspection. There is a white label on the packaging indicating these are 4 AWG 1 ft battery cables and the listing itself claims they are pure copper cables with 4x3/8" tinned copper lugs.On closer inspection I was able to confirm the following:1) The weight feels right for 4 AWG copper cables. The 1 foot 'HETECH' cables are about 1/2 the weight in comparison to my 2' copper 'InstallGear' cables;2) The diameter of the 'HETECH' cable with the insulation is actually a 2mm thicker than my other 4 AWG cables. I did note the the 'HETECH' cables are a bit more rigid in comparison to the 'InstalGear' cables'.3) The crimps on the lugs are very good, and the heat shrink over the the lugs is very neatly done;4) The lugs have a 10mm (3/8")hole but are surprisingly only 1/2 the thickness of the lugs on my 'installGear' cables (see picture, sorry for the quality). I confirmed the lugs 'are' copper with a tin coating by scraping away a little bit of tinning until I could see the copper underneath.Overall, I believe these cables are exactly what they claim to be, however all cables should come with appropriate markings on the outside insulation indicating gauge, wire composition and temperature rating.I do feel confident and safe enough using these cables for my project, but I can only give them 4 Stars due to the lack of wire markings. I also feel the pricing could be more competitive with offerings from other manufacturers.

These are nicely made. Thick gauge wire, connectors are secure but the gauge is not stamped on insulation. Marked on bag but not the wires. Bag marked CE, UL, fCc.
