Must Have little wrenches for disconnecting MC-4 connectors, also good for tightening the connectors to the wires.

The HETECH Solar Spanner Wrench for MC4 Connectors, 1 Pair Solar Connector Tool Assembly Spanners Wrenches, Solar Panel Connector Disconnect Tool, Solar PV Removal Toolsare plastic and seem like they will break but so far no issues. They work well with MC4 connectors. The centre holder and cable gland wrench work fine. The MC4 disconnect pins that are straight inline with the wrench have a bit of an edge that makes them a bit harder to use, I shaved down the edge with a knife and they work much better. The disconnect pins that are perpendicular to the body of the wrench work well as is.Overall, they do what they are supposed to and are as described.A very good price at ~$9 at the time of this review for a two pack.

The set comes with 2 wrenches. Feels like durable plastic. Only 1 minor issue I found was with the extrusion connection point. They could have deburred/sanded that point down to make it look better.Tested the wrenches on the MC4 connectors and they fit perfectly.I originally wondered why you’d need 2 wrenches, but found quickly that one to hold while the other grips and rotates to loosen/tighten.The prongs allowed easy compression of the locking tabs so you can easily disconnect the cables.Overall, the Hetech solar spanner wrenches for MC4 connectors worked perfectly and I would definitely recommend.
