The tool is exactly as described, so there's no issue there. Hobbyist machinists beware however this tool like to chatter. Fitted to a correct AXA tool holder this tool would not cut cold rolled steel as delivered. I had no aluminum or brass to try, but I ended up grinding reliefs into both sides and sharpening the cutting tip. While cutting with the reliefs exposed I could get a good roll chip, but as soon as I was past the ½" reliefs it was chatter city. I would not recommend this for steel.

I mean, it cuts. No issues so far on aluminum

Works great and great value. Blade is tempered just right and even cuts thru stainless steel with ease

Got here fast and works great for my cut off tool, no rust no problems to speak off. After I dulledit right out of the box, "did not set the right tool holder height on lathe" it only took about 5 seconds to resharpen on the bench grinder.

This was a good little tool. It long enough to give the machinist the versatility of being able to sharpen the tool and get many uses out of it. It's a good tool for the money.
