Instructions are drawings only. Communication in the form of words makes the world go round.* I had to replace a vintage wooden slide with this metal one. And it was a center slide- not for the sides.Went online to find a video and even that was hard to understand bc it wasn’t detailed enough.

The instruction is terrible but after I finally got these installed they're working as expected. I had to read all the reviews before someone mentioned how you have to tug at the glider back and forth three or four times before they come apart. I was pulling at it and after a couple tries I thought I was going to break them by tugging hard another few times. It didn't break and now I know to keep tugging until they come apart. Also make sure you measure the drawer and get the right size. I got the right size but had to adjust one back a little as the drawer wasn't closing properly. Now that they're on the are working great.

I purchased this center drawer slide in order to fix a broken one on a 20 year old Blackhawk 5 drawer dresser. The old Blackhawk dressers had drawer slides that would not separate, so that means that the drawers do not come out. Kind of a pain when you want to move the dresser as its very heavy with all drawers in.This Hickory slide can be separated; i've seen a few comments that question that. The narrow slide is the drawer slide and the wider slide that contains the ball bearing sled is the slide that mounts to the base of the dresser. To separate them, you have to firmly grasp each piece and firmly move the narrow slide in and out until is eventually releases from the ball bearing sled. You may have to be a bit creative as you install. On the Blackhawk dresser, the screw goes at an angle on the front of the drawer slide; no problem is you just bend the front of th drawer slide slight. Also, its a good idea to mark which side of the larger slide is the 'back' - if you mix up the front and back like I did, the drawer will have very limited movement. Good replacement hardware.

Bought a dresser off a social media Marketplace, got it super cheap because it needed a couple new slides. These slides were nearly identical to the ones they were replacing, just had to move screws a little bit because the holes in this one didn't quite align with the existing holes on the drawer. They seem pretty sturdy and were super easy to install. Knocked them down one star because there is no indication on the description that they don't come with screws, and most other slides I have purchased include screws.
