First day I put it on my gmc sierra it leaked in my roof liner is soaked with water , and the light itself is filled with condensation, now I have to get my roof liner cleaned cause is stained with water and I have to take it off an put the oem one back on with a new gasket

Our GMC 2016 Sierra brake light was cracked, and water would get inside and burn the bulbs out. It also left water stains on the inside roof lining. I understand this is a common issue on Sierra and Silverado models due to the gasket seal leaking. This light was a simple installation that only took about 10 minutes. You simply remove the old taillight that's held in by two T-20 size screws and remove the harness wire, then clean the area where the gasket was. Then you stick on the new gasket to the new light and reassemble it. The light works great and the LED looks really nice and bright. We haven't had a chance to take it to car wash to see if the seal is tight, but it looks great.

Light is beautiful and the seal works well but after a car wash, there were water infiltration inside the light itself. Im sure it will fail one day and I don't want it to happen...

Easy to install was plug and play. Can't say how bright it is yet still daytime. Mine is a 2015 silverado

I received this product with a chip out of the lens....not impressed with that but love the look of the light otherwise
