I am very pleased with the H11 LED Hikari Darkenex installed on my 2017 Honda CR-V low beams. It was a very simple plug and play install. I had tried two other top selling brands from Amazon and they either did not fit properly (Sealight) or the brightness was weak and the color was too blue (Fahren). The Darkenex claims to have 30,000LM with 6,000K white, making them very bright with a nice white color. The LED comes with a fan to supplement the standard heatsink ensuring the bulb from overheating. The fan is extremely quiet and is not audible when sitting in the car, even with the engine off and the lights turned on.The build quality seems solid and looks as if it will last. If you register with Hikari you get a two year warranty which is twice as long as other manufactures standard 1 year warranty. Only time will tell how durable the bulbs are but as a minimum, you are covered for 2 years. After having them installed for one week the LEDs have exceeded my expectations and have made nighttime driving enjoyable again.

I'm really impressed with the Hikari H11 Darkenex LED headlights. The brightness and clarity they provide have made a noticeable difference in my driving experience, especially at night. The beam pattern is well-focused, reducing glare for oncoming traffic, which is something I appreciate. The color temperature gives off a crisp, white light with a slight blue tint, which not only looks great but also improves visibility. The Installation was very straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable.Overall, these LEDs have exceeded my expectations and made my night drives much safer and more comfortable

I purchased these to try them on a newer projection headlight and a 2004 Toyota Sienna reflective headlight. All tests are after re-aiming the headlight using the industry standard aiming process. On the projection headlights, both the high & low beam light pattern is very nice and similar to the HIKARI 2023 Future with the Titanova LED light chips. At 55W without external driver to regulate the power & temperature they are not as intense, clear and bright as the 65W 2023 Future with external driver that off load heat from the main bulb especially after 30min after the initial full brightness (All LED bulbs decreases light output after the initial full brightness when turn on for a period of time). I will keep using the HIKARI 2023 Future with the Titanova LED light chips for the projector headlight vehicle for now.On the reflector head light I needed for the DRL & high beam. The DRL does not turn on at all; however, the high beam is wonderfully full and lights up the distance with very excellent intensity, strong & full amount of light in far distance with excellent pattern. If the DRL works, it would be 10/10!

HIKARI LED bulbs are simply fantastic a true upgrade for my vehicle’s lights. They’re incredibly bright and create a clear, focused beam that greatly improves visibility. The cooling system gives me peace of mind, knowing they’ll hold up even in tough conditions. While they’re a bit pricier, I feel the performance and durability make them totally worth it. I’ve recommended HIKARI to friends and family, and they’re equally impressed, especially with how well the bulbs perform during Canada’s harsh winter months.

I've had a 2022 Hikari Hyperstar installed on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT, in the low beam application and it has worked flawlessly since day one. So when these new Darkenex bulbs came out I decided to test them out in the DRL/High Beam application, given my positive experience with the Hyperstars. First off the quality and build of these bulbs were excellent. The packaging and accompanying manual were also well done. The bulb itself in the H7 format comes with a a removable mounting plate which allows you to first secure the plate into the headlight housing and then attach the bulb itself and rotate it into it's ideal orientation. This is a nice touch as it makes the install a lot easier; the wire latch that secures the bulb to the headlight housing, in the Elantra GT, cannot clear the built in fan but with this feature it allowed me to mount the plate, secure it with the latch, and then attach the bulb itself. Now the thing that I was worried about was the potential for flickering when used as a DRL due to the lower voltage. Thankfully, in the Elantra GT, this was not an issue and the bulb functioned as intended, without flickering, as a DRL. When the high beam was activated, the bulbs voltage was increased and subsequently so was its brightness. It is worth noting that if you do have an issue with your DRLs flickering, you can contact Hikarki, and they'll set you up with a set of resistors to remedy the issue (as stated in the manual). Now although everything works as it should and the brightness of these LED bulbs wete outstanding, the size and extra bulk of the bulb would not allow me to reinstall the OEM dust covers. As a result I've ordered a new set of dust covers with an increased depth that will accommodate the additional length of these bulbs. This is a common issue with aftermarket LEDs and should be an expected potential issue when upgrading. Thankfully this is easily remedied. Once I receive the new dust covers and install these bulbs in permanently I'll update my review and post some night shots. All in all my initial impressions of this product are positive and promising. If these new Darkenex bulbs are anywhere near as good and durable as the Hyperstars, that are still going strong after two years, I expect these to last a long time and perform well.
