This pack also came with M8 nuts, which was unexpected but a nice touch. With tools, steel rods, and threaded rods from Chinese manufacturer , I'm always half expecting to unwrap the item and find it dripping with preservative oils. I get it, you want to ensure things arrive with no rust and even though stainless steel is corrosion resistant, salt fog on the water messes with everything. I am happy to mention that these arrived ready to use without any clean up needed. They are packed dry and show no pitting or other defects that might prevent their use right out of the package.Good buy all around!

Good quality threaded rods.Ordered these for our garden next year ready for the summer, we will be using them on pallet furniture to join them together solidly, we did this a fair few years ago when we first made the furniture however they need distrying and doing again now as they have spent the last few years out side without covers on and done us well.These being 304 stainless steel means they should not rust off as quick, the threads on these are manufactured to a high standard and the ends are flat, no swaf has been seen on any of the 4 rods supplied and we were also provided with 4 nuts "have a box full though".I have checked all 4 with a steel ruler and unfortunately have to say they are not 100% flat, very minor bend to them all but these are never going to be manufactured as linear screw rods for mechanical stepper motor functionality so not a big deal.Price though these are still good value compared to local sources.

Sizing matches product description well and I've had no issues rolling a nut down the entire length, no need to chase with a die set. The rods are nice and straight and are free from overly sharp edges.

The rods are smooth, no burs or sharp edges.The threads are good, they are rolled smooth, not sharp like a cutting dyeThe rods are threaded until the end, the very last part of the thread ends in a way similar to a regular bolt, and starting a nut is straightforward.
