My 6 month old LOVES his Honey Bear Cup!Day 1: We squeezed it for him while he learned to drink out of the straw.Day 2: He was drinking on his own!Day 3: I was at my Dad’s without his cup, so I was able to use a hard plastic straw & a bottle of water, and he was able to drink on his own, while I held the bottle for him.

All in all a good purchase. Was recommended to try this straw cup by a lactation consultant. Delivery was delayed by a week but that’s not really a big deal. Packaged well. Straws are a bit of a pain to clean; the cleaning brush seems maybe a little too big for them so it gets stuck and I end up using my teeth to pull it out of the straw. Not really a big deal though just more annoying. My son loves these cups so far.One thing to consider before buying them though. If you already have straw cups (maybe you got some at your baby shower or purchased some in advance) make sure to try them out before getting a training cup like this. I have straw cups but just assumed my son wouldn’t know how to use a straw. He’s 12 almost 13 months old. Within the first use of this cup, my son figured out how to use a straw and can use all of our straw cups now. I’m wondering if he really even needed this or if I should’ve just tried the straw cups we have at home (that can’t be squeezed). My mom brain just didn’t think about that one. If your child clearly can’t use a straw then I’d definitely recommend this!

Overall these work great for those first few sips! I like that I can gently squeeze it to help my little while sucking to get the concept of sucking leads to drinking water. The size of the cup is great, generally I just fill it up half way because when my little grabs it and tips it over it spills. That is the major downside that it spills if squeezed. Which, most little hands are going to squeeze. So you have a big mess. Haha. We used this for about three weeks. Now my little understands the concept of drinking through a straw so we are switching to a new cup that is spill proof. Another win for this cup is that it is so light weight, so it isn’t heavy for littles to hold. But the con to that is it is plastic and therefore not the best as plastic consumption is not great! But great for learning! I’m

These cups come exactly as advertised. I actually didn't realize they came with a cleaning brush, which was a nice touch. Included is also pipe cleaner brushes for the straws. The cups themselves are easy to squeeze and I have been using them to teach my baby to drink from a straw. Would purchase again!

Great for a baby/toddler learning how to drink through a straw for the first time. Quick learning curve!Because the silicone straw is so long and super snug in the hole, if the child turns the cup upside down, it doesn't leak.Comes with thin straw brush since this straw is thinner than standard. Just wish these were dishwasher safe.

I absolutely love these straw cups. My son never took a bottle and I struggled for so long to find him a sippy cup or straw cup that would work and spent money on so many different ones. I only had to squeeze this cup one time and he instantly understood how to use it on his own. Is also extremely durable, as he tends to throw it from his Highchair and it resists spills fairly well, he has to get it at *just* the right angle to really spill so it's very rare. The quality of the bottle is excellent as well as the cleaning tools it comes with. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I'll be grabbing more. Totally worth the money, he can drink from all kinds of adult straw cups now too which has made life super easy.
